The conference programme is located in Galway City over two days across two different locations.

The TFI app is also a dedicated real time transport app which you can download onto both Android and IOS devices.
The University of Galway is serviced by a number of bus routes from Eyre Square including the 402, 404 and 405. The stop for the University of Galway is ‘NUIG Main Gate’
Car Parking
- Galway Cathedral Car Park -Charges: €6.50 per day
- Dyke Road Car Park - Charges €6.50 per day
- Woodquay (Limited street parking) Charges: €2 per hour / maximum stay of 2 hours.
University of Galway Parking
Parking in the University is very limited as much of it is reserved for staff. Public pay and display spaces are available but cannot be booked in advance and depending on the location within the college, different policies apply.
The three main locations for parking are:
- IT Building Parking - H91 FYH2 - Charges: €1.50 per hour / €10 per day
- 18 Distillery Road Parking Lot - H91 AW6X - Charges: €2 per day / 2-hour maximum stay
- 16 Distillery Road Parking Lot - H91 AW6X €1.50 - Charges:€1.50 per hour / €10 per day
All pay and display spaces are marked P&D and have blue lines.
Getting to Galway
Train: Galway is accessible by train via Heuston Station in Dublin or Colbert and Junction Stations in Limerick. To view these routes visit Irish Rail, booking is strongly recommended.
PLEASE NOTE that due to engineering works Irish Rail are unable to offer an online booking system for Trains on the 11 and 12 of May. Definite train times should be available from the end of April. Bus tickets can be booked as an alternative, please see below.
