As part of Creative Connexions 2013, Gerry O'Connor (fiddle), Desi Wilkinson, (flute and ethnomusicologist), Martin Quinn (accordion) and Grace Toland (singer and archivist) will collaborate with the traditional Catalan band Bruel.

The project will explore the musical relationships and historical links between the two cultures. Following on from a related event in Sitges, Barcelona earlier in the year, the Creative Connexions traditional project will culminate with showcase performances in Dun Laoghaire in May 2013.
