A cinematic ode to the moon, woven from archive, music and literature. In the magical light of sequential lunar phases the film will wander through the night to explore a dazzling range of themes - madness, love, the supernatural, death, femininity, the
utopian mission to colonise the moon. A bold and highly original work of association, impression and dream, the film will be constantly surprising and of universal appeal and wonder. Launched as a series of live cinema performances in the year of
the 50th anniversary of the moon landings, the project will be a timely and timeless landmark work.
