Creative Europe Desk Ireland -
Culture Office presents a series of capacity building webinars for
organisations considering applying for Cooperation Projects funding under the
Creative Europe Programme. The next call is due to open in autumn 2024.
These events will focus on building capacity for organisations in the
cross-cutting areas that are prioritised by Creative Europe in the 2021 - 2027
programme.
These are:
- Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI);
- Building communication & dissemination strategies for arts and culture projects; and
- Sustainability
& Greening Creative Europe.
1.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Thursday 13 June
The Head of EDI at the Arts Council of Ireland, Hannah Gordis,
will talk through how organisations can start their journey in inclusive
programming using the EDI Toolkit developed by
the Arts Council as part of their policy. Keith Thompson from the Arts Council
will talk about the Paying the Artist policy looking at fair pay and best
practice for engagement with artists in artistic projects.
2.
Building a Communications Strategy, Thursday 20 June
Catherine Griffin, Communications Consultant, will
give an informative and interactive session on developing and implementing
communication and dissemination strategies for arts organisations and arts and
culture projects.
3.
Sustainable Projects - Greening Creative Europe, Thursday 27 June
Elaine Doyle from the Arts Council will
talk us through the practical and immediate steps organisations can take to
begin their sustainable journey. We will also look at best practice Creative
Europe project case studies, the Greening of the Creative Europe programme report,
and guides to good environmental practices.
